TOOLCALCONTROL - Enables Tool Calibration Control Securities in Several WindowsEnables Tool Calibration Control Securities in Several Windows Affected Window: w_inventory_transaction_sel Switch Set to Yes: When set to Yes, the Tool Calibration Control securities can be utilized to assign or remove security to the Receiving Inspection, P/N S/N Change, P/N Initial Load, Tool Check In, and Scrap functionalities for components with the Tool Calibration Flag selected in the P/N Master. Note: The following example shows the functionality of this switch on a P/N Initial Load. For more information on this action, along with the other actions to which this switch affects, refer to the Receiving Inspection, P/N S/N Change, P/N Initial Load, Tool Check In, Scrap, and P/N Change. The following Tool Calibration Control security has been set to prevent a user from conducting a P/N Initial Load for components that have the Tool Calibration Flag selected in the P/N Master. For a specific component, the Tool Calibration Flag has been selected. Notice upon attempting to conduct a P/N Initial Load for the component with the Tool Calibration Flag selected, the user without security for the feature is prevented from utilizing the action.
Switch Set to No: When set to No, the Tool Calibration Control securities cannot be utilized, and all users will have access to the Receiving Inspection, P/N S/N Change, P/N Initial Load, Tool Check In, and Scrap functionalities for components with the Tool Calibration Flag selected in the P/N Master. The following Tool Calibration Control security has been set to prevent a user from conducting a P/N Initial Load for components that have a Tool Calibration Flag selected in the P/N Master. For a specific component, the Tool Calibration Flag has been selected. Notice upon attempting to conduct a P/N Initial Load for the component with the Tool Calibration Flag selected, the user without security for the feature is not prevented from utilizing the action. |
