Allow Issuing of Parts to Un-Authorized Exchange In/Out Orders
Affected Window: w_inventory_exchange_order_issue
Switch Set to Yes:
When set to Yes, parts cannot be issued to un-authorized Exchange In/Out Orders.
In this example, an attempt will be made to issue a part to the unauthorized Exchange Order shown below.
From the Inventory Transaction window, select a suitable P/N. Then, select the Exchange Issue button.
In the attempt to issue the part to the aforementioned Exchange Order, the system will return a hard warning.
Switch Set to No:
When set to No, parts can be issued to un-authorized Exchange In/Out Orders.
In this example, an attempt will be made to issue a part to the Exchange Order shown below.
From the Inventory Transaction window, select a suitable P/N. Then, select the Exchange Issue button.
The system allows the part to be issued to the aforementioned Exchange Order, even though it is un-authorized.
