PNREFCST - Update P/N Reference Cost Based on P/O Unit Cost

Update P/N Reference Cost Based on P/O Unit Cost

Affected Window: w_po_order_detail_eu

Switch Set to Yes:

When set to Yes, the Reference Cost of a component’s P/N Master, Costing tab will automatically be updated if it is less than the Unit Cost in a Purchase Order or ask the user whether or not to be updated if it is greater than the Unit Cost in a Purchase Order.

The following Reference Cost has been created for a component in the P/N Master, Costing tab.

A Purchase Order has been created with the part’s Unit Cost greater than the Reference Cost.

Notice the Reference Cost has been updated accordingly.

A Purchase Order has been created with the part’s Unit Cost less than the Reference Cost and a prompt appears asking the user whether or not to update the Reference Cost.

Upon selecting ‘Yes,’ notice the Reference Cost has been updated accordingly.

Note: Selecting ‘No’ will not change the Reference Cost.

Switch Set to No:

When set to No, the Reference Cost of a component’s P/N Master, Costing tab will not be updated based on the Unit Cost in a Purchase Order.

The following Reference Cost has been created for a component in the P/N Master, Costing tab.

A Purchase Order has been created with the part’s Unit Cost greater than the Reference Cost.

Notice the Reference Cost has not been updated accordingly.
