ORDERAUTOVR - Standard Order Authorization OverrideStandard Order Authorization Override Affected Window: w_po_order_header_eu
Switch Set to Yes: When set to Yes, previously authorized orders must be reauthorized only when changes are made to its Order Detail that increase the order's Total Cost. Changes that could increase the Order Total include increases to the order detail Quantity, increases to the order detail Unit Cost, or new order detail line items. Note: This switch only affects Purchase Orders, Exchange Orders, Loan Orders, and Repair Orders. Notice the Order Total of the following Purchase Order. This P/O has already been authorized. From the P/O Detail, if the Quantity or Unit Cost amount is increased or if a new Line item is added, the P/O will need to be re-authorized because either of these changes will increase the total cost of the P/O. The order line's Quantity is increased. This affects the Total Cost. Because the Total Cost was increased, the user is prompted to reauthorize the order. From the Purchase Order, Authorization tab, notice that the order's previous authorization is no longer applicable. The order is now pending authorization. However, if any other field of the order detail is changed that does not increase the Order Total, the order does not need to be reauthorized. Notice the following Purchase Order. The order has been previously authorized. From the order detail, any field can be changed without triggering a reauthorization al long as the change does not increase the total cost. When the window is exited, the authorization prompt does not appear because the order's total cost was not increased. From the Purchase Order, Authorization tab, notice that the authorization has not been updated.
Switch Set to No: When set to No, previously authorized orders must be reauthorized if any changes are made to its Order Detail. Notice the following Purchase Order. The order has been previously authorized. When any field is changed, regardless of its effect on the order's total cost, the order will need to be reauthorized. When the window is exited, the order is prompted for authorization. (Insert Image)-eMRO does not display authorization prompt when exiting the window. GR 10/11/19 Once reauthorized, the Purchase Order, Authorization tab contains the new authorization information. |
