EXCVTGL - Convert R/O to E/X G/L Defaults to P/N R/O G/L

Convert R/O to E/X G/L Defaults to P/N R/O G/L

Switch Set to Yes:

When set to Yes, the G/L Account defaults to the P/N’s G/L Account set in the P/N Master rather than that set up in the G/L Interface when a Repair Order is converted to an Exchange Order.

The following G/L Account has been set up for Exchanges in the G/L Interface.

For a specific P/N, the G/L Accounts have been set in the P/N Master.

A Repair Order has been created for the P/N.

After selecting the RO/EXCHG button to convert the Repair Order to an Exchange Order, notice the G/L Account defaults to that set in the P/N Master.

Switch Set to No:

When set to No, the G/L Account defaults to the G/L Account set in the G/L Interface rather than that set up in the P/N Master when a Repair Order is converted to an Exchange Order.

The following G/L Account has been set up for Exchanges in the G/L Interface.

For a specific P/N, the G/L have been set in the P/N Master.

A Repair Order has been created for the P/N.

After selecting the RO/EXCHG button to convert the Repair Order to an Exchange Order, notice the G/L Account defaults to that set in the G/L Interface.
