EXTOPOLINE - Retain the Order Line when converting from an Exchange Order to a Purchase Order

Retain the Order Line when converting from an Exchange Order to a Purchase Order

Affected Window: w_ex_header_eu

Switch Set to Yes:

When set to Yes, the Order Line number is retained when an Exchange Order is converted to a Purchase Order.

A multi line Exchange Order is created.

'Line 1' of the Exchange Order is converted to a Purchase Order.

The new Purchase Order is created.

The Purchase Order line number is carried over from the Exchange Order.

In the original Exchange Order, 'Line 1' item is still there but the status has been changed to Cancel.

Note: No additional order lines can be added to the original Exchange Order or the new Purchase Order.

Switch Set to No:

When set to No , the Order Line number is not retained when an Exchange Order is converted to a Purchase Order.

A multi line Exchange Order is created.

Line 3' of the Exchange Order is converted to a Purchase Order.

The new Purchase Order is created.

The original line number from the Exchange Order is not carried over. The new Purchase Order line number is '1.'

'Line 3' from the original Exchange Order is deleted.

Note: Additional order lines can be added to the original Exchange Order and the new Purchase Order.
