Tools Inventory

Once a tool part has been received and inspected (if applicable), and is booked into stock, the Tool Inventory option is used to manage the activity of the tool. Managing the inventory is accomplished with the buttons that appear on the Tool Inventory Header and Tool Inventory Detail.

The Tool Inventory program offers a variety of possibilities to manage and administer the tool inventory in stock. This option is a robust alternative to the Inventory Transaction Tool Locator View.

Note: This option is security controlled in the Security Explorer via Inventory/ Update/ Tools Inventory. For more information, refer to the Security Explorer via the System Administration Training Manual.
