Authorization Process

The Standard Authorization Process demonstrates how create authorization steps, release steps for authorization and accept authorization for standard transactions. These transactions include Engineering Controls, Task Cards, all Order Types, Scrap transactions, Requisitions, TraxDocs, P/N Controls and Work Orders. In the follow example, Engineering Controls will be used to illustrate the authorization process from creating authorization steps to accepting them. Engineering Controls follow the basic principles of the standard authorization process and can be used as a reference point for all transaction types listed above.
