Work Turnover Process

The Work Turnover program is a very helpful tool to keep track of and administer open work assignments between shifts.

It offers the shift leader the opportunity to enter a turn over record and inform the next shift leader detailed information about the work that needs to be done, either on a specific aircraft or the entire hangar.

The process that leads through the programs Work Turnover and Work Turnover Management is as follows:

  1. Shift Leader 1 (SL1) assigns a work turnover record to SL2, including all open and scheduled work for the next shift. (Work Turnover)
  2. SL2 finds the work assigned to him and closes all performed events (Work Turnover Management)
  3. With all events that remained open, SL2 issues a new work turnover record to SL3. (Work Turnover and Work Turnover Management)

The following process flow is a general guide for the setup, creation, and management of the Work Turnover. This life cycle may vary depending on each user and their company's customized protocols.
