ETOPS Process

The ETOPS Process (Extended Twin Engine Operation [Over water designator]) is designed to help the user configure and set up parts and aircraft to have the ETOPS authorization, applicability, or the appropriate aircraft ETOPS rating. This process will also navigate the user on ETOPS flights, the monitoring of all ETOPS aircraft, and the set up and completion of ETOPS related work.

The following process flow is a general guide for the configuration of ETOPS parts and aircraft and the various transactions they could go through. This life cycle may vary depending on each user and their company's customized protocols.
