Enable Authorization Process for Engineering Request
Affected Window: w_engineering_eu
Note: In eMRO version 5, Engineering Request Review has replaced the terminology Task Card Discrepancy.
Switch Set to Yes:
When set to Yes, the Engineering Request Review Authorization process is enabled.
A Reason Category system transaction code has been set up with with authorization steps.
An Engineering Request is created via a W/O Task Card, notice the Category with the authorization steps is used.
The Engineering Request is Pending Authorization and needs to be authorized before it can be reviewed or rejected.
Note: For information regarding the authorization of the Engineering Request, refer to the Engineering Request Review Authorization Explorer.
Switch Set to No:
When set to No, the Engineering Request Review Authorization process is not utilized.
A Reason Category system transaction code has been set up with with authorization steps.
An Engineering Request is created via a W/O Task Card, notice the Category with the authorization steps is used.
The Engineering Request does not require authorization and can be reviewed or rejected.
