Cannot Select to Override Effectivity for P/N and A/C Engineering Controls

Note: This switch is only functional for Part Number Engineering Controls, not for Aircraft Engineering Controls.

Switch set to Yes:

When set to Yes, users cannot override the S/Ns for P/N E/Cs. The Select All and Deselect All buttons will not be available via the Engineering Effectivity Override window.

Notice the following P/N effectivity for the E/C; select the Override button to override effectivity for specific S/N.

In the Engineering Effectivity Override window, notice the highlighted S/N is not selected for effectivity. Because the switch is set to Yes, this S/N cannot be selected. (Already selected S/Ns cannot be deselected either.) Also, the Select All and Deselect All buttons are not available in this window.

When the Override button is selected for a deselected S/N, the Engineering Effectivity Override pop-up window appears with no information.

Switch Set to No:

When set to No, users are allowed to override S/Ns for P/N E/Cs. The Select All and Deselect All buttons will be available via the Engineering Effectivity Override window.

Notice that the highlighted P/N S/N is not effective to the E/C.

Because the switch is set to No, the deselected S/N can be selected.

When the Override button is selected, the Engineering Effectivity Override pop-up window appears with the P/N E/C information for that S/N.
