LDPNWOPOS - A/C Readiness will Load P/Ns Without A/C PositionsA/C Readiness will Load P/Ns Without A/C Positions Affected Window: w_manufacturer_data_import
Switch Set to Yes: When set to Yes, the A/C Readiness import via the Manufacturer Data Import window will load parts whether or not they have an A/C Position. The following two parts will be used for the example of the switch's functionality when set to Yes. Notice that part 'A' has a Position while part 'B' does not. For example, a .txt file is created with the parts and their information to be imported in through the A/C Readiness functionality. Notice that one has a Position while the other does not. From the Manufacturer Data Import window, enter the .txt file and all other pertinent information then save. An Exception Report is created because one of the parts does not have a Position. Select OK. From the Exception Report, verify the information given. From the Inventory Transaction window, an entry for the part with the Position has been created. Because the switch is set to Yes, an entry has also been created for the part without the Position.
Switch Set to No: When set to No, the A/C Readiness import will not load parts that do not have an A/C Position. Note: When set to No, the Parts loaded that do not have a position created will not be added to the A/C Template. The following two parts will be used for the example of the switch's functionality when set to No. Notice that part 'C' has a Position while part 'D' does not. Because the switch is set to No, an entry was not created for the part without the Position. |
