Note: For this switch to have functionality, Switch REVAUTH must be set to Yes.

Switch Set to Yes:

When set to Yes, the system will only allow Task Cards to be updated when the Task Card is in revision.

eMRO_Engineering_Yes

Notice for the following Task Card, all fields are protected and cannot be updated.

Select the Revision Control button button.

The Revision Control window appears. Enter the revision details and select the Save button.

Note: If the Go To Revision Window checkbox is selected, the system to automatically take you to the Task Card Authorization window.

The Task Card is placed in revision; the fields are no longer protected and can be updated.

Note: With this switch set to Yes, the user can still update the Task Card, Location/Site Allowed tab. For additional information, refer to Switch LOCSITEALLOWED.

Switch Set to No:

When set to No, the system will allow Task Cards to be updated without having to put the Task Card into revision.
