E/C Cannot Have Both P/N and A/C Effectivity

Note: It is suggested that this Switch to be set to Yes in order to prevent shared A/C and P/N Effectivity on the same E/C which could lead to issues in Planning. By default, this Switch is set to Yes.

Switch Set to Yes:

When set to Yes, an Engineering Control cannot have both Part Number Effectivity and Aircraft Effectivity.

The following Engineering Control has been assigned a Part Number Effectivity.

Notice the same E/C cannot have Aircraft Effectivity.

Separately, the E/C's P/N Effectivity has been removed and instead now only has A/C Effectivity.

This time, notice the E/C cannot also have P/N Effectivity.

Switch Set to No:

When set to No, an Engineering Control can have both Part Number Effectivity and Aircraft Effectivity.

The following Engineering Control has Part Number Effectivity.

Notice the E/C can also have Aircraft Effectivity.
