ECNEWUPDATE - Update E/C To Be Activated

Update E/C To Be Activated

Switch Set to Yes:

When set to Yes, a Child E/C To Be Activated from a Parent E/C will have its Reset Date of the Effective Date updated whether or not its original Effective Date is null or specified through the compliance of the Parent E/C.

The following Parent E/C has been created with two particular Child E/Cs To Be Activated.

For one of the Child E/Cs To Be Activated, notice the Effective Date has been set as null.

For the other Child E/C To Be Activated, notice the Effective Date has been specified.

After the work has been completed and compliance has been met for the Parent E/C, notice the Reset Date of its Effective Date.

For the Child E/C To Be Activated with an initial Effective Date set as null, the Reset Date of the Effective Date has been cascaded from the Parent E/C and updated accordingly.

Additionally, for the Child E/C To Be Activated with an initial specified Effective Date, the Reset Date of the Effective Date has also been cascaded from the Parent E/C and updated accordingly.

Switch Set to No:

When set to No, a Child E/C To Be Activated from a Parent E/C will only have a Reset Date of the Effective Date updated if its original Effective Date is null upon the compliance of the Parent E/C.

The following Parent E/C has been created with two particular Child E/Cs To Be Activated.

For one of the Child E/Cs To Be Activated, notice the Effective Date has been set as null.

For the other Child E/C To Be Activated, notice the Effective Date has been specified.

After the work has been completed and compliance has been met for the Parent E/C, notice the Reset Date of its Effective Date.

For the Child E/C To Be Activated with an initial Effective Date set as null, the Reset Date of the Effective Date has been cascaded from the Parent E/C and updated accordingly.

However, for the Child E/C To Be Activated with an initial specified Effective Date, the Reset Date of the Effective Date has not been cascaded from the Parent E/C; therefore, it was not updated.
