Override Effectivity in MPD Loader

Affected Window: w_manufacturer_data_import

Note: This functionality only works if the 'Override Existing Information' checkbox is selected, via the Manufacturer Data Import window.

Set Up:

The following E/C has been created:

The aircraft effectivity for the E/C is set up as follows:

Switch Set to Yes:

When set to Yes, the system will allow override effectivity when loading a new revision using the MPD Loader functionality.

Go to Engineering/ Update/ Manufacturer Data Import.

Select an import file with appropriate information and begin the import process:

Note: The Override Existing Information checkbox is selected.

The import is complete:

The effectivity is overridden:

Switch Set to No:

When set to No, the system will not allow override effectivity when loading a new revision using the MPD Loader functionality.
