AircraftThe Aircraft Type/Series (Settings/ Update/ A/C Type/Series) must be set up prior to any aircraft being set up on the system. Refer to this section of the Settings Manual for more information. The Aircraft option stores information regarding every aircraft that will operate on the system. Operating data and fixed data for the aircraft can be recorded. When a new Aircraft Registration is entered via Technical Records/ Update/ A/C Initial Template Load, the A/C Template that is set up here (Template The Aircraft Tail Numbers must be set up in Order to carry out any functionality relating to aircraft on the system. When creating a new aircraft, it is important to ensure that the combination of aircraft time at take on (delivery to the user's company) and service date is entered correctly. The system will create an initial flight log record for the aircraft (called a 'z' log). This contains the total hours and cycles of the aircraft at the service date. Flight logs for the aircraft can only be entered after this date. Note: Data conversions can be performed by Trax USA Corp. if a company wants to import past flight logs (to track previous hours/cycles/days). The following tabs and buttons are available.
This update window is also available in query mode where users can view the records provided in this window but cannot create new records or edit existing data. Refer to this module's Query menu. |
