A/C Z-Records Button, via Aircraft Master

The Z Records but_z_records_small button allows adjustment of the A/C initial times/cycles which are entered in the flight log record with a log number of 'z' when first created in the aircraft. The date cannot be altered; however the hours/cycles can be changed. A prompt appears: “Run A/C Flight Closing” to re-calculate the times:

The following information/options are available in this window:

A/C

The individual aircraft tail number. The aircraft that is having its Z-record updated.

Flight Hours / Cycles

Initial Aircraft Flight hours and cycles.

A/C Brake Cycles

Initial Aircraft Brake cycles.

Block Hours

Initial Aircraft Block hours.

Hoist Hours

The amount of time that the rotor wing aircraft was operating its hoist mechanism. This field can include hours and minutes. This field is only available for A/C Type/Series that have the 'Rotor Wing Aircraft' checkbox selected (i.e., helicopters). For more information refer to the A/C Type/Series, General Tab via the Settings Training Manual.

Hoist Cycles

The number of cycles that the hoist was operated. Partial Hoist Cycles may be indicated and measured to the hundredth decimal (i.e., '4.55'). This field is only available for A/C Type/Series that have the 'Rotor Wing Aircraft' checkbox selected (i.e., helicopters). For more information refer to theA/C Type/Series, General Tab via the Settings Training Manual.

Hook Hours

The amount of time that the rotor wing aircraft was operating its hook mechanism. The hours in this field can be measured to the hundredth decimal (i.e., '4.55'). This field is only available for A/C Type/Series that have the 'Rotor Wing Aircraft' checkbox selected (i.e., helicopters). The number of times the rotor wing aircraft touched ground while it was loaned out. Each landing does not necessarily indicate a cycle for a rotor wing aircraft. This field is only available for A/C Type/Series that have the 'Rotor Wing Aircraft' checkbox selected (i.e., helicopters). For more information refer to the A/C Type/Series, General Tab via the Settings Training Manual.

The system displays a warning pop-up window. Select OK to confirm that the Aircraft Flight Closing must be run for the entered setting to take effect.
