P/N Master (General Inventory)

The P/N Master (General Inventory) option allows your organization to maintain a separate non-aircraft inventory (i.e. catering supplies for the aircraft, office supplies etc.) from A/C and Engine Inventory (maintenance parts). Security access can be set up (via System Administration/Explorer/Security Explorer) so that certain employees can only access the General Inventory functions of the system. This allows your organization to permit limited system access for employees who are not necessarily trained to the same level as employees who deal with Maintenance Inventory. Notice that the Tabs, fields, and buttons are all similar to those found in the P/N Master. Please refer to the appropriate sections of the Settings manual for additional information if required.

The General Inventory Module allows your organization to maintain a separate inventory (e.g. catering supplies for the aircraft, office supplies etc.) from Maintenance Inventory (aircraft parts). General Inventory can also be found within the following areas of the system:

• Inventory Query (Inventory/Query/Inventory Query)
• Inventory Transaction (Inventory/Update/Inventory Transaction)
• Purchase Order Header (Orders/Update/Purchase Order)
• Order Receiving (Receiving/Update/Order Receiving)

This update window is also available in query mode where users can view the records provided in this window but cannot create new records or edit existing data. Refer to this module's Query menu.
