Routes

The Route Master will allow you to set up the standard routing for company flights in the system. If the System Transaction Configuration switch is set on (Route Check on Flight Entry) the system will compare the actual flight time with the standard flight time, if it outside of the normal limits a warning will be displayed.

Routes can be entered into the system and validated on flight entry if required. The mean time between stations can be checked and an allowable deviation calculated. Up to two A/C types can be entered (as they may operate the same routes but have different flight characteristics).

Run the option, any available routes are displayed at the bottom. Select one to edit or click on the New button to create a new route. Sorting can be used to Order the routes according to your preference.

Airport Code for Origin.

Destination

Airport Code for Destination.

Description

Description of route.

Mean Hours/Minutes 1

Mean time taken for total flight hours.

Deviation Percent 1

The allowable percentage deviation from the mean time before warning.

A/C Type

Aircraft type applicable to these parameters.

Mean Hours/Minutes 2

Mean time taken for total flight hours.

Deviation Percent 2

The allowable percentage deviation from the mean time before warning.

A/C Type

Aircraft type applicable to these parameters.

Note: If the user requires the routes to be checked when you enter the Aircraft flights, the Switch ROUTECHK must be set to Yes. Additionally the origin and destination are checked along with the flight time to make sure it is within the limits specified.

This update window is also available in query mode where users can view the records provided in this window but cannot create new records or edit existing data. Refer to this module's Query menu.
