Don't Allow Multiple Sessions from Different Devices

Affected Window: w_security_signon

Note: This switch affects Production Control, Shop Control, and Customer Portal.

Switch Set to Yes

When set to Yes, a user can only be logged onto an online session for one app at a time.

The following user has logged onto Customer Portal.

The user attempts to log onto Customer Portal via a different web browser.

Since the user's current session is still active, the following pop up is displayed on the new log on attempt.

Note: Selecting the Leave button will exit the pop up. Selecting the Remove Current Login button will end the current active session and allow the user to log onto this new session.

Switch Set to No

When set to No, a user can log onto multiple online sessions across multiple apps at once.

The following user has logged onto Customer Portal.

The user attempts to log onto Customer Portal via a different web browser.

Despite having a current active session, the user can still log onto a new session and utilize the Customer Portal application.
