System Date Time Zone Conversion

Warning: This is a system-wide switch that should be set at time of implementation and not changed. If modification is necessary, only do so while all users are logged out of the system.

Switch Set to Yes:

When set to Yes, the Config Other field should be set to the Oracle time zone value that corresponds to the time zone setting of the database. This will allow the database to be set to a local time and time zone (which may have offset and daylight savings/summer time) while having System times set to UTC.

Time Zone Examples:

US/Eastern
Hong Kong
Europe/London
Africa/Cairo

Switch Set to No:

When set to No, the switch will use the database time directly as the system time.

Note: Switch SYSDTDBS must be set to Yes in order for Switch SYSDTTZC to function correctly.
