Security Password Minimum Number of Numeric Characters

Switch Set to Yes:

When set to Yes, an employee’s Password in the Security Explorer must have the same or greater amount of numeric characters than what is listed in the Config Number field of this switch.

With the switch set to Yes, when a new User is created in the Security Explorer with the Password containing fewer numeric characters than the switch’s Config Number, a warning blocks the User profile from being saved.

Switch Set to No:

When set to No, an employee’s Password in the Security Explorer does not have to meet the amount of numeric characters that is listed in the Config Number field of the switch.

With the switch set to No, when a new User is created in the Security Explorer with the Password containing fewer numeric characters than the switch’s Config Number, the User profile can still be saved.

SECMPAS – Security Password Minimum Number Of Total Characters.

SECMALP – Security Password Minimum of Alpha Characters.
