Switch Set to Yes:

When set to Yes, upon changing the sign-in Password, the system restricts users from re-using recent historical Passwords. This is based on the range entered in the Config Number field of the Configuration tab. If the Config Number is '1,' the system will only prevent users from re-using their current Password.

The following warning appears upon attempting to change a password that has already been utilized in the range specified in the Config Number.

Switch Set to No:

When set to No, the system does not validate against previously used Passwords when changing the log-in Password.

With the switch set to No, notice a password can be changed to a previous one, besides the most recent, regardless of its historical utilization.
