HELPFILE - Link Help File Path to Help Button

Link Help File Path to Help Button

Switch Set to Yes:

When set to Yes, users can insert the web address or the local address to the web help files in the Config Other field which will be linked to the Help button.

Select the Help button from the toolbar.

When selected, the link in the switch’s Config Other field is opened. The following Help button is linked to the online help in iCentral.

Note: Instead of a link to the online help, users have the option to download the help files onto a local drive, then link the switch/Help button to the local drive. If linking this switch to the local drive, the path to the 'index.htm' file must be entered in the Config Other field.
(For example: D:\Users\victor.merida\Desktop\TRAX HELP\TRAX Online Help\index.htm)

Switch Set to No:

When set to No, the Help button is not linked to the switch’s Config Other field and therefore cannot link to the Help Files.

Select the Help button from the toolbar.

When selected, the following errors appear.
