Override Preferred Vendor When Manufacturer is Updated
Affected Window: w_pn_master_eu
Switch Set to Yes:
When set to Yes, the preferred Vendor in the P/N Interchangeability, Vendor tab will be overridden when the Manufacturer is updated in the P/N Master, General tab.
The following Manufacturer is specified for the following P/N.
Notice the Vendor in the P/N Interchangeability window.
From the P/N Master, General tab, the Manufacturer is updated.
The preferred Vendor is updated to reflect the Manufacturer that was updated against the P/N Master, General tab.
Switch Set to No:
When set to No, the preferred Vendor in the P/N Interchangeability, Vendor tab will not be overridden when the Manufacturer is updated in the P/N Master, General tab.
The following Manufacturer is specified for the following P/N.
Notice the Vendor in the P/N Interchangeability window.
From the P/N Master, General tab, the Manufacturer is updated.
The preferred Vendor is not updated to reflect the Manufacturer that was updated against the P/N Master, General tab.
