Make Depreciation Month or Code Mandatory for Rotable and Repairable Parts
Affected Window: w_pn_master_eu
Switch Set to Yes:
When set to Yes, the system will make the Depreciation Month or Code field of the Costing tab mandatory when creating a new P/N if the Category is set at Rotable or Repairable.
The following P/N is being created; however, with the switch set to Yes and the Category set to be Rotable, the Depreciation Month or Code is mandatory.
Notice in the Costing tab, the Depreciation Month or Code is mandatory.
Switch Set to No:
When set to No, the system will not make the Depreciation Month nor Code field of the Costing tab mandatory when creating a new P/N, even if the Category is set at Rotable or Repairable.
The following P/N is being created. Notice that even though the Category is being set to Rotable, the P/N can be saved.
Notice in the Costing tab, neither the Depreciation Month nor Code is mandatory for the P/N to be saved.
