P/N Hazardous Materials

The System Transaction Codes are displayed with both the Code Names and Descriptions. The Code Descriptions directly illustrate their functionality and role in the system, as fields are populated and tasks are performed.

Transaction Code:	PNHAZMAT
General Description:	Part Number with a Hazardous Condition. When the Hazardous Materials Checkbox is checked via Settings/ Update/ P/N/ Inventory, the HAZMAT number field will appear to choose from.

Aircraft Restriction

Select from one of the following aircraft restriction types:

Passenger And Cargo Aircraft radio button - Select this radio button if the aircraft is a passenger and cargo aircraft.

Cargo Aircraft Only - Select this radio button if the aircraft is a cargo aircraft only

Shipment Type

Select from one of the following shipment types:

Non-Radioactive
Radioactive

Class/Division

Specify a Class/Division Code via the Hazardous Materials Class/Division System Transaction Code.

Subsidiary Risk

Detailed subsidiary risk references, set up through the Hazardous Materials Subsidiary Risk System Transaction Code, of the hazardous materials can be included to be utilized for the UN Number of the Hazardous Information in the P/N Master, Inventory tab. Up to three different types of Subsidiary Risk can be included within each P/N Hazardous Material.

Packing Group

Specify a general Packing Group Code of I, II, or III.

Note: To include a more specific Packing Group with a description, utilize the Hazardous Materials Packing Group System Transaction Code to be able to be utilized in the P/N Master, Inventory tab.
