Task Card

The Task Card (sometimes referred to as Job Card) displays the instructions to carry out work on an aircraft or components. These instructions can include additional information such as material pre-loads, skills and manuals required to carry out the job.

There are four ways in which a Task Card is complied with:

  1. An ad hoc of manual Task Card can be loaded to a Work Order or Unscheduled Work.
  2. As part of a work package of check package
  3. As part a conditional Card as a consequence of predefined limits of findings.
  4. As part of an E/C, whereby a single card has a specified interval an can be added to a Work Order and all effective, authorized Task Cards will follow.

Task Cards can be loaded into the system in several ways including manual entry, OEM and SGML Data Load, and via data conversion.

logo_V7_small button Note: From Version 7 and onward, the Maintenance Manual button, Attachment button, and Survey button have been moved from the Sub-Function menu and are now available in the Task Card Window's Option bar.

Records can be created/opened from the Task Card Selection.

Users can also add materials (P/Ns), Zones and Panels to a Task Card from anywhere in the Task Card window. For additional information, refer to the following sections:
