eMRO Part Number Controls Actuals Calculations
Part Number Control Actuals calculations are based on different scenarios as the Actuals are not coming from any particular P/N Control for the part. The Created Date, Reset Date and Install Date combinations explicitly determine what the P/N Control's Actuals will reflect in the planning window. This becomes especially important with newly created retroactive P/N Controls. The following topics will cover all of the possible scenarios and demonstrate the results:
- Scenario 1: P/N Control Created prior to Serial Number being brought into the system
- Scenario 2: P/N Control created while the P/N S/N is currently installed on an Aircraft
- Scenario 3: P/N Control created after the P/N S/N is Installed/Removed multiple times from various Aircraft but its Reset Date predates the P/N being Installed/Removed
- Scenario 4: P/N Calendar Controls created for inventoried parts share the same Reset Date and P/N Control Created Date, while a Calendar Control created for an installed part shares the same Reset Date with the most current P/N installation date.
- Scenario 5: Enter the P/N Date Control for an inventoried part at receiving. If part had been previously received in inventory or installed, Date is entered manually in P/N Control Authorization.
- Scenario 6: P/N Hour Controls for inventoried parts have the same Reset Date and Created Date, while the Reset Date of the same control for an installed part is the same as the last Installed Date.
- Scenario 7: P/N EOM Control due dates are moved to the End of the Month instead of being due at the end of the amount of Days listed against the P/N Control.
