eMRO v5 - Inventory Module

Exchange Issue, via Inventory Transaction

Note: If a user attempts to EX Issue a part from inventory that is 'Managed' and has a different owner then the owner specified in the EX Order, a hard stop warning will appear.

emro Override Send P/N Checkbox, via Exchange Order Issue, Inventory Transaction, General Tab

This checkbox has been added to eMRO from Trax: The checkbox appears when System Administration Switch SAMEINTERC for the Orders Module is set to Yes. When this switch is set to Yes, the Send P/N and Receive P/N must either be the same, One-Way Interchangeable, or Both-Way Interchangeable for the Exchange Order. The Override Receive P/N checkbox is available in the detail window if the parts are not the same or interchangeable. This checkbox bypasses the restriction. When set to No, the system does not require the Send and Receive P/N to be the same nor interchangeable; therefore the Override checkbox is not available in this window.

Note: This checkbox is security-controlled via the Security Explorer/ Inventory/ Update/ Inventory Transaction/ Override Send P/N. For additional information, refer to the Security Explorer, via the System Administration Training Manual.

Two additional columns have been added to the Inventory Detail N/L/K window, Available and Pending R/I, which identify if the batch attached to the kit is in available inventory or pending receiving inspection.

Custom Duty Change Button

Note: This button is now available in the Inventory Transaction History Query window, in addition to the Inventory Transaction window.

CUSTOM/STATUS Transaction Type - When the Customs Duty information is changed, an Inventory Transaction Type called 'CUSTOM/STATUS' is written against the batch.

Company Change Button, via Inventory Transaction

Note: The following warnings were changed from hard stop warnings to soft warnings.

  • Transfer company can not be the same.
  • X/O company can not be the same.
  • E/X company can not be the same.

Company Change Button: NONE Order Type

Note: In eMRO Version 5 and all later releases, the 'NONE' Order Type is only functional for serialized parts, not consumable parts. When trying to save a 'NONE' Company Change transaction for a batch of consumable parts, a hard warning message appears and prevents the transaction from being saved.

Company Change Button: X/O & E/X Fulfill

Note: The Fixed Assets for the two parts are swapped between the companies after the X/O & E/X Fulfill step is complete.

Company Change Button: S/O & P/O

Note: The Expenditure Code used for the Sales Order will be the Expenditure Code of the Old Company selling the part. And the Currency used for the Sales Order and Purchase Order will be the Currency of the New Company buying the part.

Manual Issue Button

Note: The system will validate Manual Issue transactions to ensure the Company for the materials being issued matches the Company listed for the W/O or A/C. This validation prevents Company Inventory from being issued to a Third Party Work Order or A/C with a different Company by prompting an error message. In order for the transaction to be valid the materials being issued must match the Company on the A/C or the Third Party Work Order.

Inventory Initial Provision Load
