P/N Kit Import, via P/N Initial Load Multi

The P/N Kit Import button is used to import a kit assembly's hierarchical structure (N/H/K's and N/L/K's) into the P/N Master. If the P/N does not exist, during the import the system will automatically create the P/N record (P/N's will be created regardless of the Allow Create P/N checkbox setting). Once the kit assembly structure has been set up in the P/N Master, the Import button can be used to import N/H/K and N/L/K parts into inventory.
First, the user must prepare the file. For information regarding how to prepare the import file, refer to Preparing File for Import, via the Import Button of the System Standards Training Manual.
Note: Import files for eMRO should be saved as .csv (coma delimited) or .xlsx and cannot have spaces in the title of the file. Spaces in the file path will cause errors when importing.
