The Authorization tab is an informational window that lets users know whether or not a Work Order has been authorized.

The following information/options are available in this window:

Authorization radio buttons

'Yes' is marked when the Work Order has been authorized, 'No' when it has not.

Authorization By

The user who authorized the Work Order.

Authorization Date

The date the Work Order was authorized.

Work Order authorization is based on the configuration of Production Switch WOATHREL. When set to 'Yes', users must authorize Work Orders via the Work Order Authorization Explorer. When set to 'No', authorization takes place automatically. For more information refer to Switch WOATHREL via the Production Switches Manual.
