eMRO v5 - Receiving Module

Control - E/C button, Receiving Inspection Detail

The R/O Control tab has been removed and replaced with the Control - E/C button. This button will be used to access the P/N Controls and P/N E/Cs linked to parts being received into the system. From the Control - E/C button, users can update the controls reset date, update actuals, and write compliance.

The following functionality has been added in Version 5: P/N E/Cs that are Position Controlled will be displayed in this window even if their Status is 'N/A' (which indicates that the Serial Number is not presently installed in the specified A/C Position). Including position-controlled P/N E/Cs that are 'N/A' ensures that the necessary controls are reviewed throughout the repair process. To ensure that all position-controlled P/N E/Cs for the part are displayed in this window, Receiving switch PNECPOSCONT must be set to Yes. For more information on position-controlled parts, refer to the Positioning Control Button, via Engineering Control P/N, General Tab.

'Pending' R/I Status, via Receiving Inspection Detail

The Pending radio button has been added to the Receiving Inspection window. This status option allows users to review/edit the P/N Controls and P/N E/Cs of the part without updating the Control tables. The tables will not be formally updated until the R/I status is changed to Accepted and saved.

Order Receiving Detail, General Tab

The fields in the Other 1 tab and Other 2 tab via the Order Receiving Detail have been migrated to the Order Receiving Detail, General tab. The Other 1 tab and Other 2 tab in the Order Receiving Detail are no longer available in eMRO version 5.

Repair Order Receiving Detail, General Tab

The fields in the Other tab via the Repair Order Receiving Detail have been migrated to the Repair Order Receiving Detail, General tab. The Other tab in the Repair Order Receiving Detail is no longer available in eMRO version 5.

Receiving Inspection, General Tab

The Receiving Inspection window has 2 new fields that can be used to query pending inventory:

Tech-CTL - The Tech-CTL drop down is used to query for P/Ns that have the same Tech-CTL selection (APU, Engine, Disk, etc.) made in the P/N Master, Technical Engineering Tab.

Tool Calibration Flag checkbox - The Tool Calibration Flag checkbox is used to retrieve only P/Ns that have the Tool Calibration Flag checkbox selected in the P/N Master, Inventory Tab.

Birth Date - The Birth Date of the part. This date is auto populated with the date specified in Purchase Order Receiving, Times Accrual tab. The 'Birth Date' field is used to calculate the Calendar Days of a part number. If the Birthdate field is not populated, the system will default to using the Order Receiving date to calculate the Calendar Days. This field only appears if Switch PNBIRTHDAY is set to Yes. For additional information, refer to Switch PNBIRTHDAY via the Receiving Switches Manual.

Note: This field is only present in eMRO v5.
