Planning Control app

The ePlanning app has been replaced by the Planning Control app in Version 5.

Fleet Due List Tab

E/C Sub drop down - Allows the user to filter and query for Sub E/Cs.

E/C Sub Category drop down - Allows the user to filter and query for E/C Sub Category classifications.

Company Filter checkbox - Select the Company Filter checkbox and the system will only retrieve E/Cs that share the same company as the aircraft selected in the A/C drop down.

NHA P/N - The part’s Next Higher Assembly P/N (if applicable). Only one record can be selected. There's also the Filter option to type in a specific record.

A/C Flight Hours - The Planning Query will forecast Due Dates based on the daily A/C Flight Hour utilization average defined in this field.

A/C Flight Cycles - The Planning Query will forecast Due Dates based on the daily A/C Flight Cycle utilization average defined in this field.

Defect checkbox - Select this checkbox to filter by Defect Reports.

Note: The Planning Query forecasts factors in Flight Schedules when generating a forecast for open Defects against a particular A/C. Forecasts will be based upon a Flight Schedule. Once that Flight Schedule is surpassed, the forecast will then be based on the time the planning is run in calculation with the Schedule.

Due At

Due Date - The calculated due date of the item (rounded to the nearest date). Planning will calculate the due date based on the number of remaining hours and/or cycles factored by the mean hours set-up for each aircraft.

Note: When Planning switch SHOWDUEDT is set to Yes, the time of day will be included along with the Due Date. When set to No, the time will not be included. For more information refer to SHOWDUEDT via the Planning Switches Manual.Note: The Due Date in the Planning Query will appear red based on the time/date entered in the Defer Due Date, HR, MN fields, and the Discovery checkbox selection. If the Day of Discovery checkbox is selected the user will have till the end of day on the Due Date before the planning event is overdue. If the Day of Discovery checkbox is de-selected the planning event will be overdue at beginning of the day on the Due Date. These configurations are made in the Defer tab, via Defect Report Detail window in the core system.

Multiple W/Os list

If the maintenance event (E/C, P/N E/C, P/N Control, Defect) is linked to more than one W/O, the number of w/Os it is linked to will be listed to the right of the W/O field. Select the number to view a list of the linked W/Os.

Planning View Tab

Category drop down - Select the W/O category to be displayed in the calendar grid. Individual or multiple categories can be selected. This drop-down is only available when the A/C radio button is selected.

Single Sign-On Login Method

The Single Sign-On (SSO) login method allows users to log in to the ePlanning application using their company domain credentials.

Note: Customers must have the necessary system requirements in place to take advantage of SSO.
