ManHour Schedule

The Man Hours Schedule feature allows for the set up of all Man Hour schedules with the option of specifying shift work patterns.

Note: This window is only available when Planning Switch LBRBYHCNT is set to 'No.' When set to 'No,' man hour labor generation will be determined by employee and shift and not by the head count functionality. When set to 'Yes,' this functionality is not available and the window cannot be accessed. For more information refer to Switch LBRBYHCNT via the Planning Switches Manual.

This feature generates the employee shift pattern, which is then used when the employees are associated to that shift at a specific location. The information is then used to calculate the available work capacity. This available work capacity is then used for the labor reservation upon the creation of planned maintenance events associated via the Work Order and Location combinations. In addition, once employees have been assigned to their shifts, the employee may attain their schedule through various Planning prints; while management may view the Employee's Work Load Planner via the Employee Master. For additional information of the Employee Work Load Planner, please refer to the eMRO Employee Master section of the Settings Training Manual.

This information can be transferred to a Human Resources system given the correct file format. Alternatively, it can be entered manually by hand, or specific ‘shifts’ created on the system. The steps involved in the Man Hours Schedule process include:

• Create a Work Group through the Manhours Schedule
  • Add employees to the group.
  • Add a work schedule (monthly) to the group.
  • Run the Man Hours Schedule Generation
  • Man Hours Schedule Override
• Use the Labor Reservation in a Work Order
