Flight Category

The System Transaction Codes are displayed with both the Code Names and Descriptions. The Code Descriptions directly illustrate their functionality and role in the system, as fields are populated and tasks are performed.

General Description:	Categories of flights.

Functions:	Allow categories to be applied to flights

Additional Functionality:

Flight Category Transaction Codes allow flights to be categorized and allow for flight codes to be classified by Revenue and/ or ETOPS. These Codes may be entered via Setting/ Explorer/ System Transaction Code. Set-up is identical to the creation of any other System Transaction Code, however this code contain additional checkboxes.

Revenue Flight

Check if flights using this code will be revenue generating.

ETOPS

Check if this is an ETOPS rated flight.

Note: A user may classify flight categories as Revenue Flight, by selecting the Revenue Flight checkbox and/ or ETOPS by selecting the ETOPS checkbox. These check boxes are strictly informational only and have not true functionality. These Flight Category Codes maybe associated to A/C Actual Flights via Technical Records/ Update/ A/C Actual Flights.
