Attachment Button

.TIFF Images - When a .TIFF image is attached, the file is automatically converted to PDF by the system to ensure it is visible in the preview pop-up window.

Drag and Drop but_Drag and Drop_eMRO icon - Users have the option to drag and drop the desired file over the window.

History Button

For each field hyperlink with a Drop Down Selection window, the History but_History_eMRO button allows users to select from the historic search records for that field. Select on a previously searched entry from the history list to auto-populate the Drop Down Selection window. The History but_History_eMRO button is available in all blue field hyperlink Drop Down Selections system wide.

Icons/Buttons

All of the icons/buttons throughout the system in version 5 have been given a new look.

Single Sign-On (SSO)

Single Sign-On allows users to log in to an application using the 'Use SSO' button (eMRO and web apps) or 'Login with SSO' button (eMobility apps) found in the system's login window. When the user selects the SSO login button they are redirected to an external identity provider's (IDP) login window where they must enter their company domain username and password. The IDP validates the user's credentials and once approved the user is logged in to the application. After the user's initial SSO login, their credentials are retained and the next time the user selects the SSO login button they are automatically logged in to the application.

Use Microsoft button (SSO)

Select this button to log in through a type of SSO the uses the employee's Microsoft account to validate eMRO security credentials. The user will be redirected to the Microsoft Authentication login window. For more information, refer to Single Sign-On in the System Standards training manual.

Print Queue

The same Print Server can be used to generate prints from multiple databases, like Testing, Training, Pre-prod, etc. However, the Print Server linked to the Production database should only be linked to the Production database, and not to any other testing/training environments.

Multi-Language Functionality

Multi-language functionality allows users to translate eMRO from English to other supported languages through the main login window or through the Change Language drop down. Users can also to add terminology to existing dictionaries for each supported language in the Dictionary window via System Administration. For further information on multi-language functionalities, refer to the System Standards Training Manual.

User Defined Language Prints

When a PDF print is generated, the user-defined language that was entered in the record's fields, such as entries in the Task Card fields (below), will be displayed in the PDF print in the language that it was entered.

Open Tab Restriction

Users will not be able to open multiple tabs for the same window (e.g. unable to open two (2) 'Inventory Transaction' tabs).
