User Defined Language in PrintsWhen a PDF print is generated, the user-defined language that is entered in fields, such as entries in the Task Card fields (below), will be displayed in the PDF print in the language that it was entered. Note: While user-defined languages were allowed to be used throughout the system, in Version 5 the user-defined language entered is recognized by the Print Server. Note: PDF prints may not display user-defined text correctly for languages that are not yet configured in the system. The eMRO Print Server currently supports various languages (e.g., English, Arabic, Russian, Spanish), however, please consult with a System Administrator for more information before trying to use a different language. In the example below, the system-defined language setting is English but the language used to populate the Task Card fields was Arabic. When the print is generated, the PDF will display the user-defined language data (Arabic) as it was entered into the system by the user. |
