Export to MS Project Button, via Work Order

The Export to MS Project eMRO Export to MS Icon button converts the selected W/O's list of attached Task Cards into a .mpp (Microsoft ® Project) file. This is generally done to allow users to quickly and easily edit general W/O Task Card-related information using the Microsoft ® Project application.

When the Export to MS Project button is selected, the system will create a .mpp file for the selected W/O and automatically initialize the download.

Note: Some browsers may block the pop-up that appears when attempting to download the .mpp file. In those cases, the pop-up needs to be manually enabled in order to initialize the download.

This file will contain the list of Task Cards that are currently attached to the W/O, alongside their individual Start/End Dates.

The user can edit the dates and later update the data in the system accordingly by uploading the .mpp file. For more information on how to upload the file, refer to Import MS Project Button, via Work Order.
