Requisition Authorization

This option allows the user to authorize requisitions (if configured). Controlling expenditures is a primary concern for many organizations. An authorization by step level requirement (i.e. supervisor authorization) can assist a Purchasing department by providing useful cost-related information. For example, by informing them that a requisition from the shop floor has passed through a supervisor level prior to their receiving the request. Requisitions must have an authorized status for order processing to proceed.

Note: From version 7 and onward, this window will be used in place of the Requisition Authorization Explorer window.

Note: The system configuration Switch REQATHREL (Authorization by Step) must be set to No for this window to be accessed.

The Export as Excel button can be selected to view the queried data (including all pages) in an Excel spreadsheet. This Excel file can be saved for later use. For more information refer to the Export as Excel Button via the eMRO System Standards manual.
