Requisition ManagementThe Requisition Management option allows users to manage requisitions by:
For example, if a requisition is raised for a part number that has a unit on repair, the Order can be allocated to the open Repair requisition. If a requisition is no longer required, it may be canceled. A message will then be sent to the user (buyer or creator depending on configuration) that their requisition has been canceled. Note: The Requisition Status will not close but remain 'Open' upon receipt of an order (E/X, L/O, P/O, T/O, S/V) with a Quantity that is less than the Requisition Quantity. For example, if the Requisition Quantity is 100 and a Transfer Order with a Quantity of 10 is linked to that Requisition, the Requisition will remain Open after the T/O is completed. If information regarding the requisition needs to be changed, it may be modified on the original requisition request. The following tabs and buttons are available at the initial level.
For information on the options in the detail level, refer to the Requisition Management Detail.
