P/N Software Configuration Revision Query

The P/N Software Configuration Revision Query allows users to query for any revisions that have been made to any aircraft's (typically Boeing 787s) Software Configurations. Users enter search criteria at the top of the window, and the results are displayed in the table to the bottom.

Note: Actual records cannot be edited from the Query window. For detailed information on how to create revisions for existing Software Configurations, refer to the P/N Software Configuration window.

Search Section

The following information/options are available in this window:

A/C Type

The entire Aircraft Type.

A/C Series

The entire Aircraft Series.

Equipment Reference Designator

The aircraft position ERD (Equipment Reference Designator) reference. This is the physical position on the aircraft where the hardware part is installed.

Software Location ID

The Software Location Identification (SLID) code. The SLID is where the software for the part is loaded onto the hardware part's ERD location. One ERD may have multiple SLIDs as a hardware part may have multiple software components.

P/N

The hardware part that is installed on the aircraft in its ERD position.

P/N Software

The software part that is installed on the aircraft for the hardware part.

The Export as Excel button can be selected to view the queried data (including all pages) in an Excel spreadsheet. This Excel file can be saved for later use. For more information refer to the Export as Excel Button via the eMRO System Standards manual.

The Filter/Sort button is used to alter the search criteria for records associated with the host module and window. For more information, refer to Filter/Sort Button via the eMRO System Standards Module.
