Requisition Authorization Status For Reorder Requisition

Affected Window: w_requisition_authorization_eu

Switch Set to Yes:

When set to Yes, Requisitions triggered automatically for Inventory Reorder levels will be authorized automatically.

From the P/N Inventory Level window, notice that the following P/N has a Reorder Level and the Trigger Requisition checkbox is selected.

From Inventory Transaction, notice that some of these parts are available at the above Reorder Location. By selecting the Manual Issue button, some of these available parts will be issued to a Work Order thereby triggering a reorder Requisition.

A quantity of parts will be issued. The available quantity of this part at this Location will now be less than the part's Reorder Level.

The following reorder Requisition was created automatically to replenish the inventory.

From the Requisition Management window, notice that this Requisition has automatically been authorized.

Switch Set to No:

When set to No, Requisitions triggered automatically for Inventory reorder levels will not be authorized automatically.

From the P/N Inventory Level window, notice that the following P/N has a Reorder Level and the Trigger Requisition checkbox is selected.

From Inventory Transaction, notice that some of these parts are available at the above Reorder Location. By selecting the Manual Issue button, some of these available parts will be issued to a Work Order thereby triggering a reorder Requisition.

A quantity of parts will be issued. The available quantity of this part at this Location will now be less than the part's Reorder Level.

The following reorder Requisition was created automatically to replenish the inventory.

From the Requisition Management window, notice that this Requisition is pending authorization.
