Service Order

This option allows the user to create and update a Service Order for services that will be performed by external companies. These services may be performed during maintenance checks, or overhaul of components or even just general work within the company. The costs can be charged to work orders as per other Order Types. The receiving of a Service Order will close it and update the financials. It is important to note that the purpose of the Service Order is typically for tracking intangible goods such cleaning/washing the aircraft, out-base contractor maintenance, etc.
