While Repair Orders are issued for parts that are not installed in an aircraft, it is possible to issue Repair Orders for parts that are still installed on the aircraft. The system will display the following warning message:

The part will have the status PENDRMV (= pending removal) until it is removed from the aircraft. The Repair Order can be authorized and printed while the part is still installed, however the Repair Order cannot be received while the part is still installed. Once the part is removed from the aircraft and returned to stock, the status of the order will be changed to Open, and the order can then be authorized and processed normally. Fill in all required fields and any optional fields desired on all tabs.
