The Split T/C per Zone functionality is used to split Task Cards with multiple Zones into different T/Cs for each zone. When a multi-zone T/C is split amongst its zones through the Split Task Card in Zones For example, notice the following two Zones have the Split Zone checkbox selected in the Task Card Control Master, General Tab. Note: If this checkbox is not selected for a Zone, the Task Card will not be able to create a sub-T/C for that Zone. Notice that the following Task Card is linked to the same Zones shown above. To split the T/C, go to the Task Card Selection window and find the desired T/Cs. Then click the Split Task Card in Zones The Split Task Card window opens. All Task Cards from the previous window that are linked to one or more Zones are listed here. When a T/C is expanded, the sub-T/Cs that can be created for each Zone are listed. The name of each of these split T/Cs will have the same T/C name but will end with a sequential suffix: -1, -2, -3, etc. To create these new split T/Cs, select the desired T/Cs from the list then select the Do Split Note: Once the Do Split button is selected, the window will automatically close. From the Task Card Selection window the newly created sub-T/Cs are available. These new T/Cs contain all of the same data as the original T/C but only contain the one specific Zone code. The new '-1' T/C is linked to one of the original T/C's Zones. While the new '-2' T/C is linked to the other Zone of the original T/C. These new T/Cs can go on to be linked to an E/C and scheduled with more flexibility on the W/O's phases as needed. The original T/C will also remain available in the system to be linked to E/Cs and scheduled on a W/O. |
