Manual Registration

Once the Manual’s Master template has been entered via the Manual Control option, individual Manuals can be entered.

The Manual Registration option allows the user to enter the individual serialized Manuals specifying their stored locations.

This option can also be used to manually update Manual details when not using an authorization Step system.

The first Manual to be entered is the Master Manual. Only one Manual will act as the Master and that Manual will have the ‘Master checkbox’ selected. Additional non-Master Manuals will be entered after the Master Manual has been created.

Once the Master Manual has been entered, any Non-master Manuals (i.e. copies) can be entered into the system. Both the Master and Non-master Manuals are entered via the Manual Registration option.

The only difference between inputting Non-Master versus Master Manuals is that Non-Master Manuals will not have the Master checkbox checked. Only the Active checkbox is checked for the Non-Master Manuals.
