Set the Default Status of a New Shop Work Order

Affected Window: w_wo_shop_eu_0

Note: For this switch to function, Production Switch WOATHREL must be set to No, If it is set to Yes, users will not be allowed to set this Shop switch to Yes, and the following warning will appear:

Switch Set to Yes:

When set to Yes, the system allows the user to set the default Status for a new Shop W/O. Enter one of the following in the Config Order field: OPEN, HOLD, COMPLETED, or GENERATION.

Note: No other values entered in the Config Other field will be recognized regardless of Yes/No settings.

The following Shop Work Order is being created. Notice the Status is set by default to the Config Other of the switch.

Switch Set to No:

When set to No, the system does not allow users to set the default Status for new Shop Work Orders. The Status in the Config Other field of this switch is overridden.

The following Shop Work Order is being created. Notice the Status is set to Open by default.
